This GRADE is created by the natural wood pattern.

WHITE SAPWOOD at the edge (<1/3 of the width) can go across the entire length of the board.

FALLEN KNOTS 0.80mm are allowed. The natural knots are either glued in their locations or gaps are filled with wood filler (Polyamide) or putty.

CRACKS <5mm are allowed over the entire length of the board.

This is the most popular GRADE. Any significant discolouration is allowed and to be expected. There are no restrictions for internal sapwood.

WHITE SAPWOOD at the board’s edge <15mm and <1/3 of the board’s length

WHOLE KNOTS of 0<50mm are not limited

FALLEN KNOTS 0<40mm are allowed. Natural knots are either glued in their location or gaps are filled with a wood filler (Polyamide) or putty.

CRACKS <2mm wide and 5% of the board’s length are allowed.

CRACKS in combed and pre-heated Parquet wood <3mm wide and <10% of the board’s length are allowed.

This is a PREMIUM GRADE. Only timbers free from any defects are selected. The wood has a uniform colour.

HEALTHY KNOTS: 0<10mm not in groups

CRACKS in combed and heat-treated wood <1mm wide and 2% of the board’s length covered with special wood putty are permissible.

SELECT PLUS

Only the highest GRADE of uniform Walnut wood is selected for this supreme GRADE. The timber is free of ANY defects, knots, sapwood or cracks.
